Designed with Form & Function in mind, not only does the Ram Air scoop look good, it force feeds cool fresh airflow to your engine compartment. Twin Extractor Vents expel horsepower-robbing heat from under the Mustang GT hood resulting in cooler overall engine temperatures. Circulating cool airflow translates into more consistent power & performance! Also Fits 10-14 GT500.

The 2013-2014 Mustang GT hood features rear-screened air vents to extract heat as well as a fully-finished underside liner for extra strength and Constructed from premium hand laid fiberglass.

Installs in all factory locations and utilizes the factory hood latching system. New squirters are included and are relocated to the underside of the hood.
It appears that the heat extractors are sealed off on the bottom side of the hood, is that correct or am I looking at that picture wrong?
That is a good question, the heat extractor openings are completely open however the hood does include drip pans that may seem to "seal off" the extractor openings. There are small holes in the drip pans to allow that hot air from the motor to escape as well as redirect water away from the motor in the case of heavy rain fall.
